Printing Your Certificate

You can print your Green Advantage Certificate by entering your last name along with the number that you received in the results email from Green Advantage stating that you passed the exam. This attractive certificate displays your name, the certificate issuance date, expiration date, and your unique certificate number. You can print your certificate on cardstock or high quality paper for framing.

Listing in the GA Online Directory

GA certified personnel are listed in the Green Advantage Online Directory. There is no fee to be included in the Directory. If you need to update any of the following information, you should submit the update to directory@greenadvantage.org and include your:

  • Name (first and last)
  • Company Name
  • Company Street Address
  • Company City, State, and Zip
  • Work Phone
  • Work Email (to be used for Green Advantage official correspondence)
  • Company Website

Anyone who wishes to remove their name from the Directory should email the request to directory@greenadvantage.org.

Using the GA Certification Signifier and GA Logo

Once you are certified, you can:

  • Display the exam specific GA logo on your marketing materials
  • Use the GA signifier after your name
  • Link your website to GA’s website

Green Advantage trademarks, service marks, trade names, and trade dress are valuable assets protected under Copyright and Intellectual Property Law. Be careful to use them properly. The GA Trademark Usage Guide explains the proper use and display of all Green Advantage marks. Individuals and organizations wishing to use Green Advantage material that is trademark protected or copyrighted should refer to this helpful guide. Green Advantage reserves the right to modify posted documents as well as original works.

Linking to the GA Website

When you link your logo or signifier to the Green Advantage website, people can click to read more about Green Advantage and understand the value of your certification.  They can even look you up in the GA Online Directory.

Buying GA Gear

Green Advantage offers a U.S. made, organic cotton baseball cap with the GA logo for $15 and a GA decal which can be used on your hard hat or other surfaces for $2. (Decals are only available to GACA and GACP Certified individuals.) Both costs include shipping and handling.

Announcing Your Certification

Use a Green Advantage Press Release Template to announce your GACP or GACA certification and let your community know about your commitment to green building.

These templates offer a suggested release format that you may use “as is” or adjust to customize your message. Send the release to local newspapers, industry associations, and national organizations you work with. You can also post it on your website and distribute it to all of your contacts. Recertify

You will be notified by email 3 months prior to your certification’s expiration date. Don’t forget to recertify before your current certification expires. Doing so can save you money! Learn more.
