| SOLD OUT DVGBC Commercial Training in Philadelphia… |
Dallas, Texas… Philadelphia, Pennsylvania… Chantilly, Virginia…What do these cities have in common? Green Advantage Training and Certification events have sold out in each of these cities. In response to consumer requests, new green product development and legislative initiatives, the demand for quality green building instruction is rising dramatically from coast to coast. Dozens of towns and cities now require some level of high performance building and more are being added to the list each day. Contractors are finding that having green building certification credentials and green building experience is keeping them ahead of the curve of this expanding market.
Developers, building owners and general contractors will be looking for ways to earn points and credits towards the various mandated green rating score sheets, and you can contribute by being Green Advantage Certified. The Bainey Group, Inc. was able to apply a LEED Innovation Design Credit to their Smetana Business Center project in Plymouth, Minnesota for having the prescribed percentages of Green Advantage Certified practitioners on the management and construction team. The Bainey Group may re-submit this Innovation credit for consideration on future LEED project worksheets as well. This one point could make the difference between levels of certification that a project ultimately earns. Let your Green Advantage certification work for you.
“The Green Advantage seminar and Exam was an incredible way to “mainline” an understanding of sustainable building from concept, through design and construction, what it means, how it works and how to get it done.”
Brad Bainey, CEO – The Bainey Group – General Contractor
