For Credentialed Personnel

Congratulations on becoming Green Advantage credentialed! There are many ways to put your credential to work for you. Here are some examples:

Dashboard
If you register through the Green Advantage website for a GA credential, if you currently hold a GA credential or if you are a former GA credential holder, you now have a Dashboard! Once credentialed, you can print your certificate, change you contact information, populate your public profile, and more through your Dashboard.

Printing Your Certificate

Once you receive the results email from Green Advantage stating that you passed the exam, through your Dashboard you can access, download and print your Green Advantage Certificate. This attractive certificate displays your name, the certificate issuance date, expiration date, and your unique certificate number. If you wish, you can print your certificate on card stock or high quality paper for framing.

Listing in the GA Online Directory

GA credentialed personnel are listed in the Green Advantage Online Directory. There is no fee to be included in the Directory. You can update Directory information through your Dashboard. Here’s a sample of what you can post in the GA Online Directory by making adjustments to your Profile.

Using the GA Certification Signifier and GA Logo

Once you are credentialed, as long as you maintain the credential you can:

  • Display the exam specific GA logo on your marketing materials
  • Use the GA signifier after your name, if you are GACP or GACA Certified
  • Link your website to GA’s website

Linking to Social Media

When you use your Dashboard to showcase your credential through LinkedIn or Facebook, people can click to read more about your accomplishment, the value of your credential and Green Advantage. They can also look you up in the GA Online Directory.

Announcing Your Certification

Use a Green Advantage Press Release Template to announce your GACP or GACA certification and let your community know about your commitment to green building.

These templates offer a suggested release format that you may use “as is” or adjust to customize your message. Send the release to local newspapers, industry associations, and national organizations you work with. You can also post it on your website and distribute it to all of your contacts. Press releases are also an effective way to announce the start of your new green project or your certification renewal. For more ideas, contact info@greenadvantage.org.

Recertify

If you earned a GACP or a GACA Certification, you will be notified by email 3 months prior to your certification’s expiration date. Don’t forget to recertify before your current certification expires. Doing so can save you money! Learn more.
