From The Chair

Dear Reader,
As you probably know, Green Advantage is largely about advancing green building by certifying construction personnel who successfully prove their green knowledge.
But Green Advantage is also about another type of building. It builds relationships. This occurs among and between Green Advantage Certified personnel, on the worksite and in the workplace, and with many other stakeholders, such as owners, developers, foundations, trade associations, unions, academia, contractor and subcontractor firms, architectural and engineering firms.
Building these relationships results in more value for and recognition of green building and of the Green Advantage certified personnel who construct them.
You’ll discover in the Annual Report for 2010 a 12-month snapshot of this important “building” effort.
Warm regards,
Leroy Battle
Chair of the Board
