Kim Mihalik is currently the Deputy Director of the Environmental Technology Network for Asia Program under the U.S.-Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP).
She previously has performed pollution prevention and energy efficiency assessments for various clients, taught basic hazardous waste management and pollution prevention at U.S. military facilities both in the U.S. and internationally, and has assisted in the development of several life cycle analysis (LCA) tools for EPA.
Her current extracurricular activities revolve around green building, both in her participation in the GreenHome Board of Directors and as a "worker bee" on-site, as well as her position on the acting Board of Directors for Green Advantage, a certification program under development for green builders, developers and architects. And when she's not doing environmental activities, you might spot her on the dance floor at a local swing or salsa club.
