Your group code is boulder2-10. Be sure to select Residential Exam (in-network) and you will be able to then select the testing site, date and time of your exam from the testing centers available. When your exam registration is complete, you will be e-mailed the current Green Advantage(R) Open Book Exam Reference and Exam Preparation Manual.
Green from the Ground Up:
2-Day In Depth Green Building Training:
February 19th and 26, 9:00am -5:00pm
Green from the Ground Up is a 2-day training geared toward builders, architects, contractors and trades people who need a more in-depth understanding of how to build green and how to meet city of Boulder Green Points, and Boulder County BuildSmart green building codes. Participants will learn how to approach a home from the green building mindset. Students learn to view a home in terms of interrelated systems. From foundations to flooring, from roofs to HVAC systems, students learn that all aspects of design and construction must function together in order to build a green home.
We will emphasize the best available green building practices available for implementation and build professional’s capacity to retrofit homes and build new homes to be more energy efficient, improve indoor air quality and enhance the environmental performance with various levels of sophistication. This class will build upon the introductory class or be the next step for those professionals who have had a basic 101 green building training previously.

About the Trainer
David Johnston of What’s Working, LLC & GreenBuilding.com, LLC in Boulder, Colorado. David has been training the residential building industry for 30 years. Skilled as a communicator, teacher and trainer, David is able to communicate with people from a variety of professional and non-professional backgrounds and inspire them to build and live green. He was an award-winning remodeling contractor in the Washington DC metro area for 10 years.
David's Book Green from the Ground Up is available for an additional $25. You can sign up to pay for it now or buy it on site. This book will be required if you wish to take the GreenAdvantage test but is not required to take the class.
Cancellation Policy
BGBG must receive your cancellation by February 15 at noon for a full refund. No refunds will be given after that time.
BGBG reserves the right to cancel this class if minimum registrations are not met by February 16. If the class is canceled, all associated costs will be refunded.
